Herons of Fihalhohi (Maldives Diaries)

The heron is quite endemic in the South Male Atoll and they ignore humans pretty much. Even when I am walking on these wooden bridges close to them, they wouldn't budge so it's easy to photograph them. They aren't camera-shy, that's for sure. There are several found in Fihalhohi, even around the land-based villas.

The waters of the Laccadive Seas are crystal so it's easy to spot underwater creatures. Information and travelogue are written on our earlier posts.

This is the Eye in the Sky!
